The assessment was based on an extensive anonymous survey of Lock employees on key workplace issues such as trust in management, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, compensation, health promotion and work-life balance. In addition, the management was asked about promotional measures and offers of personnel work in the company. The results of the two internationally proven survey instruments (Great Place to Work® Employee Survey + Culture Audit) were weighted at a ratio of 2:1; the focus is therefore on the evaluation of employees.
Companies today need more than just a good salary. Appreciation and meaningfulness of work now seem to play a greater role than career and status symbols. To ensure satisfaction, motivation and thus loyalty, companies must focus on corporate culture and regard it as a continuous investment.
"As a family-run company in the 5th generation, we have always been in competition for the best employees. For this reason we offer our employees an attractive environment that is defined by mutual trust and appreciation", says Frank Lock managing director and owner. "This award is both a confirmation and an incentive for us to continue on this path.
