In March, Lock once again faced the external assessors of the EFQM. The aim was to defend the 4 stars from the last assessment and to further expand the points achieved. What succeeded as well: Lock scored 452 points, increased by 13% and received the "Ludwig-Erhard-Preis" in bronze for the first time. "An important milestone on our way to becoming an excellent company, for us a confirmation and motivation to continue along this path to EFQM excellence," said Frank Lock.
The"Ludwig-Erhard-Preis Initiative e.V. (ILEP)" has honored eight companies for their integrated management performance. The "Ludwig-Erhard-Preis" was officially awarded on 25 June at the Radialsystem in Berlin. Another company from the region was one of this year's prizewinners: the Ulm police headquarters also received the "Ludwig-Erhard-Preis" in bronze.
Together, we set off for the "Ludwig-Erhard-Preis" ceremony in Berlin. We, probably the most fashionable tourists in the city, didn't miss it and went on a sightseeing tour in the best weather with over 30 °C in full festive outfit.
Afterwards we went in the direction of Osterberlin. There the award ceremony took place in the historic machine hall, the Radialsystem. The multiple gold medal winner Verena Bentele could not emulate any organization this year: there was no gold prize winner in 2019! We were all the more proud when she handed us the "Ludwig-Erhard-Preis" in bronze. To belong to the small group of finalists is an outstanding achievement of which we are proud together!
