LSC 40 control unit With the LSC control unit, Lock has been setting standards since 2019 and completely redefining the adjustment of end positions and position measurement. The control unit offers the possibility of adjusting the end positions without a power connection. This creates an installation advantage, as both the installation and the adjustment of the end positions can be carried out in a single step. In addition, this feature ensures that the control unit does not lose the adjustment of the end positions when the drive moves without power. Instead, the control unit detects the exact current position when power is restored. Damage caused by exceeding end positions is impossible, and a reference run is unnecessary. This saves time and money during maintenance or repairs in the drive train. PATENTED Optional: END limit switch The mechanical END limit switch allows the start and end points of a movement, the end positions, to be easily adjusted. The adjustment is made by fixing grub screws in the END and is possible without power, ensuring a simple installation process compared to conventional mechanical solutions on the market. An additional integrated safety switch in the END limit switch ensures that the end positions are not exceeded, even if the position has been changed manually. As soon as the limit switch is outside the range between the start and end positions, the safety switch switches off the drive completely. PATENTED
