Successful EFE Assessment: “Recognised for Excellence – 6 Stars”

Last week, we welcomed four assessors from the Initiative Ludwig-Erhard-Preis e. V. (ILEP) to our company for a two-day EFE assessment. The objective was a comprehensive evaluation of our organization based on the Excellence Framework Europe (EFE), determining our maturity level in holistic management and sustainable performance.

Two Intensive Days Focused on Excellence

Through numerous interviews, workshops, and in-depth document reviews, our strategies, leadership approaches, processes, and results were examined in detail. The assessment went far beyond reviewing KPIs; it focused on how consistently and effectively we align our organization with the principles of sustainable excellence.

The open and constructive dialogue with the independent assessors was particularly valuable. In addition to clear confirmation of our strengths, we received concrete recommendations for further development. This external perspective helps us challenge established patterns and systematically unlock additional potential.

Classification Within the Ludwig Erhard Prize

The EFE assessment is embedded in the Ludwig-Erhard-Preis, one of Germany’s most prestigious awards for holistic business excellence. The prize honors organizations that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovation capability, and sustainable future readiness.

Based on our assessment results, an independent jury will determine in May whether we will be classified in the categories Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
