Lock Drives Inc. at Cultivate’26 in Columbus – Speed up your drives!

Ertingen/Columbus, July 2026 – Lock Drives Inc. will be presenting its latest drive solutions for professional greenhouse horticulture at Cultivate'26, July 11–14, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio – booth 2412. The message is clear: Easy does it.

This year's appearance carries special significance: Lock Drives Inc. is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The story in North America goes back even further – long before the founding of Lock Drives Inc., greenhouses across the United States and Canada were already being built with Lock drives. Establishing a dedicated U.S. subsidiary was a milestone, transforming Lock from a trusted export supplier into a true on-the-ground partner for North American customers. Behind that commitment stands a company with deep roots: Lock was founded over 180 years ago by Raphael Lock in Ertingen, Germany, and is today led by Frank Lock, the fifth generation of the family.

At the heart of this year's booth: the SpeedLogic system – combining the EWA 52 or the EWA 56 with the external frequency inverter SPL 60. It's this combination that brings real speed to your operation, with closing speeds of up to 15 rpm for your ventilation, delivered in pre-programmed steps that are ready to use right out of the box – for any application. And no reversing contactor control is required. Easy does it.

Also making its debut at the show: the Motor Control Box (MCB) – a new development designed specifically for the U.S. market. The MCB enables manual travel to both end positions for single- and three-phase drives, provides an automatic mode for integration with external controls, and supplies 24 V DC – so your LSC can be connected and put to work straight away.

Rounding out the booth: the proven EWA 5 Series – modular, zero-maintenance, and ready for any greenhouse project – alongside the LSC 40, which gets end position set in seconds, with just 2 clicks. It really doesn't get any easier than that.
