Ertingen, Germany / Philadelphia, PA — August, 2026 — Lock Drives will exhibit at the inaugural GreenTech North America, taking place September 23–24, 2026 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. At booth 605, the drive technology specialist will demonstrate how its "Easy does it" philosophy translates into everyday advantages for growers: technology that is simple to install, easy to operate, and reliable over the long run.

For its first on-site appearance at a GreenTech event in North America, Lock Drives is deliberately putting simplicity front and center. Conversations with North American growers have repeatedly highlighted the same need: drive and control technology that works without demanding electrical expertise or time-consuming adjustments.

This first-time appearance comes in a milestone year: Lock Drives Inc. is celebrating 25 years in the U.S. market. The company's roots in the region reach back even further — long before the U.S. subsidiary was founded, greenhouses across the United States and Canada were already being built with Lock drives. Establishing Lock Drives Inc. marked a defining step, turning Lock from a trusted export supplier into an on-the-ground partner for North American growers. Backed by more than 180 years of engineering heritage from Ertingen, Germany — where the company was founded by Raphael Lock and is today led by Frank Lock in the fifth generation — Lock Drives brings that accumulated experience to every greenhouse it serves in the region.

At the heart of the booth is the proven combination of the EWA 5 series and the LSC 40 mechatronic limit switch. The EWA 5 series comprises three drives in different power classes, is fully modular, and fits into virtually any greenhouse while running quietly, precisely, and reliably. The LSC 40 installs entirely without power and allows both end positions to be set in just two clicks. An integrated safety switch prevents the end positions from being overrun, while a built-in memory allows the system to resume operation immediately after a power interruption.

For applications that call for higher speeds, Lock Drives will present the SPL 60 frequency inverter: combined with the EWA 52 or EWA 56, the SPL 60 delivers the required speed as part of Lock's SpeedLogic approach. Also on display is the Motor Control Box, a new development for simple and dependable motor control.

Lock Drives' project engineers will be available at the booth throughout the show to advise visitors on designing their ventilation and screening systems — from initial planning to the finished solution.
