Full length ridge ventilation. Wide span ventilation is a common method where flaps or windows are placed along the side walls of the greenhouse. These can be controlled manually or automatically to allow for effective ventilation.

The advantage of wide-span ventilation is its ability to ensure even air circulation throughout the greenhouse. This is especially important to minimize temperature differences and create a consistent climate for the plants.

  • Large ventilation widths of up to 100m possible
  • Can also be used with insulated or safety glass
  • Can be connected to a central automated control system
  • Best air quality for an optimal climate for the plants
  • Good ventilation even with a small ventilation gap
  • Open and close even in adverse conditions (wind, snow)
  • Reduces space requirements in the greenhouse
  • High energy savings in the greenhouse and yet ventilation is still possible
  • Calculation and design by Lock team of experts
  • Long service life in use due to robust design of Lock products
  • Time and effort saved in assembly due to perfectly matched products
  • High driving force in the Lock electric drives EWA reduces the number of gearmotors
  • Corrosion resistant for many years
  • Very low maintenance costs
